ESL In-Home Program of Northern Nevada

Welcome to the ESL In-Home Program of Northern Nevada. Since February 2004, our community volunteer tutors have assisted over 5,000 adult learners to become more informed and self-reliant by learning to speak, read, write, and understand English.  We make a difference in people’s lives and help solve the language barriers.

We offer adults an opportunity to learn or improve their English language skills. The training sessions and basic materials are provided AT NO COST to the tutor and student. To learn more about our program, click on “Student Programs” above.

The ESL in-Home Program of Northern Nevada is recognized as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization by the IRS.

Mission Statement: 

ESL In-Home Program of Northern Nevada provides instruction AT NO COST to adult individuals who wish to learn or improve their English language skills, Workplace Communication, Computer Literacy, GED Preparation, and Citizenship Study regardless of sex, age, race, religion or national or ethnic origin, or physical disabilities. ESL In-Home Program empowers people, especially those of low to moderate income, to become more productive members of their local communities by providing them with the language and cultural skills necessary for life in America.
