Our Story

Berney Realty was established in 1968 by E.S. “Bud” Berney and his wife Ruth. When the office first opened Bud was the only agent but was joined later by Andree Gill and P.T. Strain along with his wife Ruth. Bud’s son Mike joined the office in 1977 and took over the business from his father in 1981. The office has been located at 290 W. Williams Ave. until September of 2022 where it moved to the new location of 1870 W. Williams Ave. Cari Norcutt purchased Berney Realty, LTD in May, 2008. Cari’s motto is “to know that I have a clear conscience when working with both buyers and sellers is very valuable to me!” Cari is very committed to being part of the local community and strives to help sellers get top dollar for their home and finding the perfect home for you and your family.
